Questions, answered
Can I describe my own scene?
Yes. Choose "Your idea" and describe it in up to 120 characters.
Does it work with pets?
Yes. Pets can join the adventure, or be the star of it.
Can I see my design before paying?
You pay when you order, and then we create your design and email you a private link to it. Nothing is printed until you approve a design. If none feels right, simply don't approve one: after 24 hours we give you a full refund, automatically.
Will the artwork actually look like us?
We use AI to paint your photo into the artwork, guided to keep everyone's features, so your family stays recognizable. You see every design before it's printed. If someone doesn't look quite right, tell us what's off when you ask for a redo (for example, "Dad's beard is missing") and we'll correct it.
What kind of photo should I use?
A clear, well-lit photo where everyone faces the camera and no face is hidden by sunglasses, hats or shadows. Daylight works best. Everyone you want in the puzzle needs to be in the same photo, since we can't combine separate photos yet. Small groups work best, because each face gets more detail. The photo should be at least 1000 pixels on its shortest side, which any recent phone photo is.
What if I don't like my design?
Ask for a redo and tell us what to change, up to 5 times for free. Your earlier designs stay available, so you can still pick one of those instead.
What if I still don't like it after five redos?
From your third redo, you can contact us at hello@foleina.com and we'll work on it with you. If none of your designs feels right, don't approve one: nothing gets printed, and you get a full refund automatically after 24 hours.
How long will my puzzle take to arrive?
Your first design is usually ready within minutes, and you have 24 hours to approve it or ask for redos. Once you approve, printing takes 2–5 business days and shipping about 3–7 more, so plan on 1–2 weeks from approval. Buying for a special day? Order at least 2 weeks ahead.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free across the US. We don't ship outside the US yet.
Which size should I choose?
30 big pieces suit little ones (ages 3+), 110 pieces suit kids aged 6+, 500 pieces make a cozy family evening, and 1000 pieces are a real challenge for puzzle pros. Finished sizes: 10×8″ for 30 and 110 pieces, 21×15.5″ for 500, and 30×20″ for 1000.
What comes in the box?
Your puzzle, packed in a printed gift tin. Every size comes with one.
What if my puzzle arrives damaged or has missing pieces?
Contact us at hello@foleina.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the problem, and we'll send you a new puzzle for free. You don't need to send the old one back.
Can I cancel or return my order?
Before you approve a design, you can cancel at any time for a full refund: just email hello@foleina.com. Once you approve, your puzzle goes to print right away, so the order can't be cancelled. Because every puzzle is made just for you, we can't take returns, but we'll always replace one that arrives damaged or with pieces missing.
What happens to my photos after launch?
Your photo is used only to create your puzzle and is stored privately. If you don't finish your order, we delete it after 48 hours. Otherwise we delete it, along with your designs, 30 days after your puzzle ships, or right away if you're refunded. We never use your photos in our marketing or to train AI.
